Just in case anyone wasn't paying attention, Obama does not in fact support equal rights for queer couples and his opposition to equal rights was one of the weapons used by the CA bigots to win on Prop 8. Could someone explain why it's better to support one candidate who doesn't believe in equality over another candidate who doesn't believe in equality and how that translates into us winning rights today?
