Salem-Conscious Band at Tost in Fremont October 8th

Salem is performing at the Tost Lounge in Fremont on Wednesday, October 8th on a Northwest tour.

Salem is touring the Northwest again after playing for 10,000 people at the Seattle Hempfest mainstage in August.

Composer, drummer and vocalist for Salem, Todd Anders Johnson is now sponsored by Libtech Snowboards, Ayotte Drums, Native Eyewear, Mountainsmith and Mountain Hardware. The group played the biggest ski and snowboard events in the world last season with ESPN’s Winter X Games, the Jeep King of the Mountain in Sun Valley, and US Freeskiing and snowboarding events in Jackson, Copper and Girdwood, Alaska. Warren Miller has been featuring Salem music in trailers with Corona and the upcoming film tour for "Children of Winter" and last year's “Off the Grid”.
Salem has now released the group’s debut studio record, "as it is above, so it is below" and it is available online at Digstation, CDBaby and will soon be available on iTunes. The album was recorded at Far & Away Studios in Boulder, Colorado, by Geoff Gray. The first track, Northward, was mixed at Outkast’s Stankonia Studios by Grammy winning mix engineer and studio manager, John Frye. The album was mastered by Grammy-winning mastering engineer, David Glasser, at Airshow Mastering in Boulder.
The group has been on CD release tours all summer and fall through Colorado,Utah, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon and Alaska. On the tour, Salem headlined the Seattle Hempfest for 10,000 people. Salem has shows in Colorado in September in Nederland and Alma, in Jackson Hole at the Mangy Moose for the 69 Days until Tram Opens Party.
