We came out to support last night and it was all for nothing. We didn't even slow the military machine down, and our friends got hauled off to jail for nothing.

Sorry, but were stayin home tonight.

they are waiting that day when the newspaper banner reads-

Rocks defeat Neo-cons, War ends
Dateline Tacoma. Reacting to what was called the most vociferous rockthrowing and gate blockaiding action to date, the Prez this morning declaired the war is over. When asken which war, he replied "all of them." Last nigh several dozen protestors met Stryker drivers and bitcheted greatly. Police and military begged to do a direct action, and were backed by the Teamster Truckers. However the legals brought in by the Anarchists were successful in convincing authorities there would be hell to pay if one protestor as much as got a hangnail, or a dirty pant knee. Upon reflection, and awaiting a call from Karl Rove himself, police handed out vegan donuts ant reefer from a recent seizure was "inadvertently" dropped near the protestors.

Conversations apparently happened, though reporters were told the details were none of their damn bussiness. This morning the prseident came on the Rush LimpBow program to admit he was wrong, and offer his appologies to all the protestors who have been inconvenienced. ....etcetcetc

Anything short of this only eggs them on to greater and greater symbolic actions that they prefer to lie about and call direct action.
