On May 24, Native Peoples Alliance with Friends and Allies plus NW AIM will host a fundraising event at El Centro de La Raza in support and Solidarity with the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five.

On May 24, Native Peoples Alliance with Friends and Allies plus NW AIM will host a fundraising event at El Centro de La Raza in support and Solidarity with the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five.

The Cuban Five are five Cuban men who risked their lives to infiltrate the anti-Cuba terrorist movement in Miami and protect their homeland against terrorism. They were prosecuted for "espionage" and "conspiracy to commit murder" and are now serving long sentences in Federal Prisons. For more information on their case, please visit

The fundraising dinner will take place on Saturday, May 24 at El Centro de La Raza, 2524 16th Ave South, Seattle.

Doors will open at 3:30 pm and the event will start at 4:30 pm. Program will include:

Drum Call, Song and Spirit Plate offering
Welcome by Roberto Maestas
Dinner
Invited Speakers
Blanket Song
