Well, that right to be left alone BY THE GOVERNMENT does not mean that you have the right to be left alone by your equals...

If you disagree with the things which someone is saying, you have the same right to counter demonstrate that anyone else has. Your first amendment rights only apply to government actions against you, not the community's actions.

Jim's persecution complex and the threats which result from his fear are signs of his powerlessness. Like most workers, Jim sees the erosion of his power in personal terms. He doesn't like that his employer could cut him off from his living and give his job to someone who lives south of here and has brown skin. He's grabbing hold of the explanation which makes sense to him, and that happens to be a racist analysis. He's wrong about that, of course - but it's not like the people who run Jim's place of employment aren't racists themselves. They likely are. And they'll likely take Jim's job away from him regardless of Jim's actions or his race. But Jim knows very little history - for instance, he wears the uniform of a man Hitler had killed in the "night of the long knives." That he would put on an SA uniform shows just how little of actual Nazi history he really knows... So Jim makes the same mistakes that workers have for decades - he stays isolated and sectarian in his box, divided and conquered. This is why racism works for capital - it divides us. This is why we must resist Nazis - they work to divide, and kill, organized workers. That's history - and current events as well.

Of course, if Jim or anyone else threatens to kill me because I want to organize in my community, I'm not going to spend a lot of time reaching out to him and discussing the matter. I have an absolute right of self defense, using lethal force if need arises. But I'm not going to stop Jim from having his rally - I want his images on my camera for posterity. And I want to catalog his allies in the WSP, who will protect him in July and allow him to posture and threaten us all he wants to.

The endgame for capital in 1940's Germany was to put workers (French slaves, Communists, Jews) into factory camps which would work them to death, literally. Each person had a serial number tatooed to their arm, which was used on a Hollerith card (IBM subsidiary) to calculate how much food, and how many days, each worker had left. The factories ate workers as a resource (it's much cheaper if you don't have to feed them). That's what is in store for ALL OF US when the oil supply collapses... so we should resist now, and build an alternative, or we're going to be wishing we had in just a short decade or two.

You can hate the hell out of their message but the police MUST up-hold the law for them and their constitutional rights. Nationwide the counter protesters are the ones being arrested! Washington State will be no different up on the State Capitol.
Remember the liberal Olympia Police Do Not enforce laws at the Capitol. The State Patrol is not as fexible as the Olympia Police Department.

Maybe not, but you know the saying: if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck .... it must be a duck. You decide whether you think that old saying is valid for Ben Seattle.

Like the Hitler, Ben Seattle fears free speech. He wants to get his own set of brown shirts (i.e., "militant activists") to search the newswire for wrong thinking. He proposes to provide the political will, if his brown shirts will provide the brute strength.

Like the Goebbels, he perpetrates the "big lie". Day after day he posts accusations that the Seattle IMC site is filled with Nazi spam. The only evidence he provides is the post above-- which is a whimpy rebuttal to an aggressive anti-Nazi call to action by the Seattle IMC. In addition to posting information about anti-Nazi actions in Seattle and Olympia, the Seattle IMC posted a center column article outing of Nazis living in the area (and their addresses!).

Like the Nazi propaganda machine, however, the truth means little to Ben Seattle. Thus, even if only one (wuss-ass) Nazi post has appeared, he claims that the site has been over run by Nazi spam. Of course, since he has decided that liberals are as dangerous as Nazis, he might be lumping a variety of groups together (1 Nazi post + a few dozen Green Party sympathizers) .

Like the Nazi regime, Ben Seattle wants to subjugate the IMC and control what people think by controlling the press. In this case, controlling what content can/can't appear on the Seattle IMC website.

Who is more dangerous? The cry-baby piece of shit who posted the news item above? Or Ben Seattle?

I think it's long over due that other extremists groups use the INDY MEDIA Website(s)!!! For the longest time all you would see on hear was ALF /ELF / Anarcists / Anti-War rederic...Freedom of speech brother gotta love it! We here in the U.S. have some many rights that we take advantage of everyday but in other countries they don't even have "freedom of speech(s)"
