Global nightmare: Saving the LOST

author: a3m

It has recently come to light that some members of the Bush administration have been working behind the scenes with a group of international businessmen who want to resurrect this many-tentacled ocean monster (meaning the "LOST" in the title of this story). It likely has something to do with the black gold hidden under the sea

It now appears that its ratification is being pushed by Vice President Dick Cheney, the man who ran Halliburton before being pressed back into public service by President Bush.

Mr. Cheney, say it isn't so!

Got 'em! Another one that "they" won't get to pull on us. Not if "we" have anything to say about it.

Cheeny, Un-Curious George the Junior, Halburton, Oil....it sounds like a short list of the "Usual Suspects" and one expects reading of the timely discovery of these foiled dastardly deeds would be a simple matter to rejoyce over. Perhaps rejoyce with our usual crowd, the good guys, known as "US."

But I've gotten ahead of the "story," and one needs a story to create "news" out of mere facts and observation.

My "source" goes on:

"Judicial Watch and the Sierra Club sued Mr. Cheney to get the records of what went on behind the closed doors of his Energy Task Force. It must be pretty embarrassing, because Mr. Cheney refused to comply with two lower-court rulings and appealed all the way to the Supreme Court in order to keep those records away from the American people.

Perhaps, just perhaps, it was this battle plan for the LOST."

The "LOST" again, the global disaster of our title. It's a plan for megaglobal rule of the sea. You might try to characterize LOST as WTO where there are no nations. Because LOST is another such global usurpation as we tire of fighting. But this rule might not just be for corporations, in fact they might just be fronts as we always suspected. Fronts for other shaddowy associations and persons. Other players concerning whom we have not recived the "program" upon entering the theatre.

And then we can drop the fact that, "Even more troubling, the U.S. Navy is quietly pushing for LOST ratification." And in our heads we can play the movies with those Hawks and that Industrial Complex and the Pentagon dinnings and dealings.

Republicans, Halburtons, the Fascisti are all there lined up....

************************

My :source" reveals a TRANSNATIONAL power which, if successfull with the LOST, be "free to recruit and maintain its own standing army of paid international enforcers. Many believe that if you can control the great seas and oceans of the world, you control the world!"

Corporations and an army of their own, running the seas, controlling all that moves about the face of the seas.........

" It creates an International Seabed Authority to regulate the vast oceans and everything that happens beneath these waters, as well as everything that travels above or below their surfaces."

So much for the little guy, so much for the family fisherfolks who ply generations old "commerce" there go all the self determination of destiny for them.

And not to forget every Nations' soverignty. Transnationals know to cut out those nasty tax collecting agencies like Nations. Nothing shall go to nations and their roads and schools and health needs. In fact they shall surrender a great deal of soverignty to this Transnational, this usurper of Nations.

A nightmare indeed.

But I should let my "source" tell the "story" such as it can be news, without a clear "story" to fit up against the facts and observations...
